SUMMARY:Water Break Photo Contest
DESCRIPTION:The Victoria Gold Yukon Student Encouragement Society is excited to announce the winners of the Every Student\, Every Day Water Break Photo Contest. This territory-wide awareness campaign was launched to help Yukon students be engaged\, stay healthy and hydrated\, while reducing plastic waste and its impact on the environment. We hope the contest motivated students to pursue healthier habits and be engaged in learning which will inspire others as we work together to help increase student attendance in our classrooms. \n“The Every Student\, Every Day Water Break Contest received so many great photographs which made it difficult for the judges to select just four winners from each age category! So\, we are pleased to announce that all entrants\, excluding the winners\, will receive a $25 gift card\,” says Victoria Gold Yukon Student Encouragement Society President Tara Christie. “We appreciate everyone who submitted photos in the contest and we hope to use many of the wonderful pictures for future promotional material.” \nWe would like to thank Victoria Gold Corp. for providing funding for the contest as well as Air North\, Yukon’s Airlines and Small’s Expediting Services for delivering the water bottles to the students in the communities throughout the territory.
