Every Student Every Day is proud to support practical, community-led projects that strengthen student attendance and engagement across the Yukon. Below are a selection of initiatives funded through our annual Student Attendance Initiative.

Robotics North Society — FIRST LEGO League

Supported student participation in FIRST LEGO League programming, providing hands-on learning in robotics, engineering, coding, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Robotics North Society — FIRST Tech Challenge

Supported student participation in FIRST Tech Challenge programming, helping youth develop advanced robotics skills, technical confidence, and collaboration through competitive STEM learning.

Centre scolaire secondaire communautaire Paul-Émile-Mercier — Mountain Bikes

Provided mountain bikes and related equipment to support outdoor learning, student engagement, and student wellness through active programming and inclusive participation.

Del Van Gorder School — ADST/STTEAM Resources

Enhanced Applied Design, Skills, and Technology (ADST/STTEAM) learning by providing resources and materials that supported hands-on, real-world skill development.

École Émilie-Tremblay — Arts-Based Attendance Initiative

Supported arts-based programming that strengthened student belonging, creative expression, and connection to school as a strategy to improve attendance and engagement.

F.H. Collins Secondary School — Makerspace

Supported the development of a makerspace environment that strengthened student engagement through hands-on learning, creativity, applied skills, and collaborative project-based activities.

École Whitehorse Elementary School — Projectors & Screens

Provided classroom presentation equipment (projectors and screens) to strengthen learning delivery, student participation, and classroom engagement.

Golden Horn Elementary School Council — Mobile Kitchenette

Supported the purchase of a mobile kitchenette to strengthen food access and nutrition supports for students, helping reduce barriers that impact attendance and readiness to learn.

Del Van Gorder School — Kitchen Infrastructure Supports

Supported practical kitchen equipment and improvements that helped schools deliver food and nutrition supports, strengthening student wellness and attendance readiness.

Robotics North Society — Territory-Wide STEM Engagement

Supported broader robotics programming and participation opportunities that increased access to STEM learning for students across Yukon communities.

Student Wellness and Engagement Supports (School-Based)

Supported locally designed initiatives that strengthened student connection to school, improved wellness, and reduced barriers to consistent attendance.
